1 Now these are the last words of David. Thus says David
the son of Jesse; Thus says the man raised up on high, The anointed of the
God of Jacob, And the sweet psalmist of |
1 فَهَذِهِ
هِيَ
كَلِمَاتُ
دَاوُدَ
الأَخِيرَةُ:
«وَحْيُ
دَاوُدَ
بْنِ
يَسَّى،
وَوَحْيُ
الرَّجُلِ
الْقَائِمِ
فِي
الْعُلاَ،
مَسِيحِ
إِلَهِ
يَعْقُوبَ،
وَمُرَنِّمِ
إِسْرَائِيلَ
الْحُلْوِ: |
2 "The Spirit of the Lord spoke by me, And His
word was on my tongue. |
2 رُوحُ
الرَّبِّ
تَكَلَّمَ
بِي
وَكَلِمَتُهُ
عَلَى
لِسَانِي. |
3 The God of |
3 قَالَ
إِلَهُ
إِسْرَائِيلَ.
إِلَيَّ
تَكَلَّمَ
صَخْرَةُ
إِسْرَائِيلَ.
إِذَا
تَسَلَّطَ
عَلَى
النَّاسِ
بَارٌّ
يَتَسَلَّطُ
بِخَوْفِ
اللَّهِ،
|
4 And he shall be like the light of the morning
when the sun rises, A morning without clouds, Like the tender grass springing
out of the earth, By clear shining after rain.' |
4 وَكَنُورِ
الصَّبَاحِ
إِذَا
أَشْرَقَتِ
الشَّمْسُ.
كَعُشْبٍ
مِنَ
الأَرْضِ
فِي صَبَاحٍ
صَحْوٍ
مُضِيءٍ
غِبَّ
الْمَطَرِ. |
5 "Although my house is not so with God, Yet He
has made with me an everlasting covenant, Ordered in all things and secure.
For this is all my salvation and all my desire; Will He not make it increase?

5 أَلَيْسَ
هَكَذَا
بَيْتِي
عِنْدَ
اللَّهِ لأَنَّهُ
وَضَعَ لِي
عَهْداً
أَبَدِيّاً
مُتْقَناً
فِي كُلِّ
شَيْءٍ
وَمَحْفُوظاً؟
أَفَلاَ
يُثْبِتُ
كُلَّ
خَلاَصِي
وَكُلَّ مَسَرَّتِي؟ |
6 But the sons of rebellion shall all be as thorns
thrust away, Because they cannot be taken with hands. |
6 وَلَكِنَّ
بَنِي
بَلِيَّعَالَ
جَمِيعَهُمْ
كَشَوْكٍ
مَطْرُوحٍ
لأَنَّهُمْ
لاَ يُؤْخَذُونَ
بِيَدٍ.
|
7 But the man who touches them Must be armed with
iron and the shaft of a spear, And they shall be utterly burned with fire in
their place." |
7 وَالرَّجُلُ
الَّذِي
يَمَسُّهُمْ
يَتَسَلَّحُ
بِحَدِيدٍ
وَعَصَا
رُمْحٍ.
فَيَحْتَرِقُونَ
بِالنَّارِ
فِي مَكَانِهِمْ». |
8 These are the names of the mighty men whom David
had: Josheb-Basshebeth the Tachmonite,
chief among the captains. He was called Adino the Eznite, because he had killed eight hundred men at one
time. |
8 هَذِهِ
أَسْمَاءُ
الأَبْطَالِ
الَّذِينَ
لِدَاوُدَ:
يُشَيْبَ
بَشَّبَثُ التَّحْكَمُونِيُّ
رَئِيسُ
الثَّلاَثَةِ.
هُوَ هَزَّ
رُمْحَهُ
عَلَى
ثَمَانِ
مِئَةٍ قَتَلَهُمْ
دُفْعَةً
وَاحِدَةً. |
9 And after him was Eleazar the son of Dodo, the
Ahohite, one of the three mighty men with David when they defied the
Philistines who were gathered there for battle, and the men of Israel had
retreated. |
9 وَبَعْدَهُ
أَلِعَازَارُ
بْنُ دُودُو
بْنِ أَخُوخِي
أَحَدُ
الثَّلاَثَةِ
الأَبْطَالِ
الَّذِينَ
كَانُوا
مَعَ
دَاوُدَ
حِينَمَا
عَيَّرُوا
الْفِلِسْطِينِيِّينَ
الَّذِينَ
اجْتَمَعُوا
هُنَاكَ لِلْحَرْبِ
وَصَعِدَ
رِجَالُ
إِسْرَائِيلَ. |
10 He arose and attacked the Philistines until his
hand was weary, and his hand stuck to the sword. The Lord brought about a
great victory that day; and the people returned after him only to plunder. |
10 أَمَّا
هُوَ
فَأَقَامَ
وَضَرَبَ
الْفِلِسْطِينِيِّينَ
حَتَّى
كَلَّتْ
يَدُهُ،
وَلَصِقَتْ
يَدُهُ
بِالسَّيْفِ،
وَصَنَعَ
الرَّبُّ
خَلاَصاً
عَظِيماً
فِي ذَلِكَ
الْيَوْمِ،
وَرَجَعَ
الشَّعْبُ
وَرَاءَهُ
لِلنَّهْبِ
فَقَطْ.

11 And after him was Shammah the son of Agee the
Hararite. The Philistines had gathered together into a troop where there was
a piece of ground full of lentils. Then the people fled from the Philistines.
|
11 وَبَعْدَهُ
شَمَّةُ
بْنُ أَجِي
الْهَرَارِيُّ.
فَاجْتَمَعَ
الْفِلِسْطِينِيُّونَ
جَيْشاً
وَكَانَتْ
هُنَاكَ
قِطْعَةُ
حَقْلٍ
مَمْلُوءةً
عَدَساً،
فَهَرَبَ
الشَّعْبُ
مِنْ
أَمَامِ الْفِلِسْطِينِيِّينَ. |
12 But he stationed himself in the middle of the
field, defended it, and killed the Philistines. And the Lord brought about a
great victory. |
12 فَوَقَفَ
فِي وَسَطِ
الْقِطْعَةِ
وَأَنْقَذَهَا،
وَضَرَبَ
الْفِلِسْطِينِيِّينَ
فَصَنَعَ
الرَّبُّ
خَلاَصاً
عَظِيماً. |
13 Then three of the thirty chief men went down at
harvest time and came to David at the |
13 وَنَزَلَ
الثَّلاَثَةُ
مِنَ
الثَّلاَثِينَ
رَئِيساً
وَأَتُوا
فِي
الْحَصَادِ
إِلَى دَاوُدَ
إِلَى
مَغَارَةِ
عَدُلاَّمَ،
وَجَيْشُ
الْفِلِسْطِينِيِّينَ
نَازِلٌ فِي وَادِي
الرَّفَائِيِّينَ. |
14 David was then in the stronghold, and the garrison
of the Philistines was then in |
14 وَكَانَ
دَاوُدُ
حِينَئِذٍ
فِي
الْحِصْنِ، وَحَفَظَةُ
الْفِلِسْطِينِيِّينَ
حِينَئِذٍ
فِي بَيْتِ
لَحْمٍ.

15 And David said with longing, "Oh, that
someone would give me a drink of the water from the well of |
15 فَتَأَوَّهَ
دَاوُدُ
وَقَالَ:
«مَنْ
يَسْقِينِي
مَاءً مِنْ
بِئْرِ
بَيْتِ
لَحْمٍ
الَّتِي
عِنْدَ
الْبَابِ؟» |
16 So the three mighty men broke through the camp
of the Philistines, drew water from the well of |
16 فَشَقَّ
الأَبْطَالُ
الثَّلاَثَةُ
مَحَلَّةَ
الْفِلِسْطِينِيِّينَ
وَاسْتَقُوا
مَاءً مِنْ
بِئْرِ
بَيْتِ
لَحْمٍ
الَّتِي عِنْدَ
الْبَابِ،
وَحَمَلُوهُ
وَأَتُوا بِهِ
إِلَى
دَاوُدَ،
فَلَمْ
يَشَأْ أَنْ
يَشْرَبَهُ
بَلْ
سَكَبَهُ
لِلرَّبِّ |
17 And he said, "Far be it from me, O Lord,
that I should do this! Is this not the blood of the men who went in jeopardy
of their lives?" Therefore he would not drink it. These things were done
by the three mighty men. |
17 وَقَالَ:
«حَاشَا لِي
يَا رَبُّ أَنْ
أَفْعَلَ
ذَلِكَ.
هَذَا دَمُ
الرِّجَالِ الَّذِينَ
خَاطَرُوا
بِأَنْفُسِهِمْ».
فَلَمْ
يَشَأْ أَنْ
يَشْرَبَهُ.
هَذَا مَا
فَعَلَهُ
الثَّلاَثَةُ
الأَبْطَالُ. |
18 Now Abishai the brother of Joab, the son of
Zeruiah, was chief of another three. He lifted his spear against three
hundred men, killed them, and won a name among these three. |
18 وَأَبِيشَايُ
أَخُو
يُوآبَ
ابْنُِ
صَرُويَةَ
هُوَ
رَئِيسُ
ثَلاَثَةٍ.
هَذَا هَزَّ
رُمْحَهُ
عَلَى
ثَلاَثِ
مِئَةٍ
قَتَلَهُمْ،
فَكَانَ
لَهُ اسْمٌ
بَيْنَ
الثَّلاَثَةِ. |
19 Was he not the most honored of three? Therefore
he became their captain. However, he did not attain to the first three. |
19 أَلَمْ
يُكْرَمْ
عَلَى
الثَّلاَثَةِ
فَكَانَ
لَهُمْ
رَئِيساً،
إِلاَّ
أَنَّهُ
لَمْ يَصِلْ
إِلَى
الثَّلاَثَةِ
الأُوَلِ. |
20 Benaiah was the son of Jehoiada,
the son of a valiant man from Kabzeel, who had done many deeds. He had killed
two lion-like heroes of |
20 وَبَنَايَاهُو
بْنُ
يَهُويَادَاعَ،
ابْنُ ذِي
بَأْسٍ،
كَثِيرُ
الأَفْعَالِ،
مِنْ قَبْصِئِيلَ،
هُوَ
الَّذِي
ضَرَبَ
أَسَدَيْ مُوآبَ،
وَهُوَ
الَّذِي
نَزَلَ
وَضَرَبَ أَسَداً
فِي وَسَطِ
جُبٍّ
يَوْمَ
الثَّلْجِ. |
21 And he killed an Egyptian, a spectacular man.
The Egyptian had a spear in his hand; so he went down to him with a staff,
wrested the spear out of the Egyptian's hand, and killed him with his own
spear. |
21 وَهُوَ
ضَرَبَ
رَجُلاً
مِصْرِيّاً
ذَا مَنْظَرٍ،
وَكَانَ
بِيَدِ
الْمِصْرِيِّ
رُمْحٌ،
فَنَزَلَ
إِلَيْهِ
بِعَصاً
وَخَطَفَ الرُّمْحَ
مِنْ يَدِ
الْمِصْرِيِّ
وَقَتَلَهُ
بِرُمْحِهِ. |
22 These things Benaiah the son of Jehoiada did, and
won a name among three mighty men. |
22 هَذَا
مَا
فَعَلَهُ
بَنَايَاهُو
بْنُ يَهُويَادَاعَ،
فَكَانَ
لَهُ اسْمٌ
بَيْنَ الثَّلاَثَةِ
الأَبْطَالِ، |
23 He was more honored than the thirty, but he did
not attain to the first three. And David appointed him over his guard. |
23 وَأُكْرِمَ
عَلَى
الثَّلاَثِينَ،
إِلاَّ أَنَّهُ
لَمْ يَصِلْ
إِلَى
الثَّلاَثَةِ.
فَجَعَلَهُ
دَاوُدُ
مِنْ
أَصْحَابِ
سِرِّهِ.

24 Asahel the brother of Joab was one of the
thirty; Elhanan the son of Dodo of Bethlehem, |
24 وَعَسَائِيلُ
أَخُو
يُوآبَ
كَانَ مِنَ
الثَّلاَثِينَ،
وَأَلْحَانَانُ
بْنُ دُودُو
مِنْ بَيْتِ
لَحْمٍ.
|
25 Shammah the Harodite,
Elika the Harodite, |
25 وَشَمَّةُ
الْحَرُودِيُّ،
وَأَلِيقَا
الْحَرُودِيُّ، |
26 Helez the Paltite,
Ira the son of Ikkesh the Tekoite, |
26 وَحَالَصُ
الْفَلْطِيُّ،
وَعِيرَا
بْنُ عِقِّيشَ
التَّقُوعِيُّ، |
27 Abiezer the Anathothite, Mebunnai the Hushathite, |
27 وَأَبِيعَزَرُ
الْعَنَاثُوثِيُّ،
وَمَبُونَايُ
الْحُوشَاتِيُّ، |
28 Zalmon the
Ahohite, Maharai the Netophathite, |
28 وَصَلْمُونُ
الأَخُوخِيُّ،
وَمَهْرَايُ
النَّطُوفَاتِيُّ، |
29 Heleb the son of
Baanah (the Netophathite), Ittai the son of Ribai
from Gibeah of the children of Benjamin, |
29 وَخَالَبُ
بْنُ
بَعْنَةَ
النَّطُوفَاتِيُّ،
وَإِتَّايُ
بْنُ
رِيبَايَ
مِنْ
جِبْعَةِ
بَنِي بِنْيَامِينَ، |
30 Benaiah a Pirathonite, Hiddai
from the brooks of Gaash, |
30 وَبَنَايَا
الْفَرْعَتُونِيُّ،
وَهِدَّايُ
مِنْ
أَوْدِيَةِ
جَاعَشَ،
|
31 Abi-Albon the
Arbathite, Azmaveth the Barhumite, |
31 وَأَبُو
عَلْبُونَ
الْعَرَبَاتِيُّ،
وَعَزْمُوتُ
الْبَرْحُومِيُّ، |
32 Eliahba the Shaalbonite (of the sons of Jashen), Jonathan, |
32 وَأَلْيَحْبَا
الشَّعْلُبُونِيُّ
وَمِنْ بَنِي
يَاشَنَ:
يُونَاثَانُ. |
33 Shammah the Hararite, Ahiam the son of Sharar the Hararite, |
33 وَشَمَّةُ
الْهَرَارِيُّ،
وَأَخِيآمُ
بْنُ
شَارَارَ
الأَرَارِيُّ، |
34 Eliphelet the son of Ahasbai,
the son of the Maachathite, Eliam the son of
Ahithophel the Gilonite, |
34 وَأَلِيفَلَطُ
بْنُ
أَحَسْبَايَ
ابْنُ
الْمَعْكِيِّ،
وَأَلِيعَامُ
بْنُ
أَخِيتُوفَلَ
الْجِيلُونِيُّ، |
35 Hezrai the
Carmelite, Paarai the Arbite, |
35 وَحَصْرَايُ
الْكَرْمَلِيُّ،
وَفَعْرَايُ
الأَرَبِيُّ، |
36 Igal the son of Nathan of Zobah, Bani the Gadite, |
36 وَيَجْآلُ
بْنُ
نَاثَانَ
مِنْ
صُوبَةَ،
وَبَانِي
الْجَادِيُّ، |
37 Zelek the Ammonite, Naharai the Beerothite (armorbearer of Joab the son of Zeruiah), |
37 وَصَالَقُ
الْعَمُّونِيُّ،
وَنَحْرَايُ
الْبَئِيرُوتِيُّ
(حَامِلُ
سِلاَحِ
يُوآبَ بْنِ
صَرُويَةَ) |
38 Ira the Ithrite, Gareb the Ithrite, |
38 وَعِيرَا
الْيِثْرِيُّ،
وَجَارَبُ
الْيَثْرِيُّ، |
39 and Uriah the Hittite: thirty-seven in all. |
39 وَأُورِيَّا
الْحِثِّيُّ.
الْجَمِيعُ
سَبْعَةٌ
وَثَلاَثُونَ. |
