1 And so it was, when King Hezekiah heard it, that he
tore his clothes, covered himself with sackcloth, and went into the house of
the Lord. |
1 فَلَمَّا
سَمِعَ
الْمَلِكُ
حَزَقِيَّا
ذَلِكَ
مَزَّقَ
ثِيَابَهُ
وَتَغَطَّى
بِمِسْحٍ
وَدَخَلَ
بَيْتَ
الرَّبِّ. |
2 Then he sent Eliakim, who was over the household,
Shebna the scribe, and the elders of the priests, covered with sackcloth, to
Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz. |
2 وَأَرْسَلَ
أَلِيَاقِيمَ
الَّذِي
عَلَى الْبَيْتِ
وَشِبْنَةَ
الْكَاتِبَ
وَشُيُوخَ
الْكَهَنَةِ
مُتَغَطِّينَ
بِمِسْحٍ
إِلَى
إِشَعْيَاءَ
النَّبِيِّ
ابْنِ
آمُوصَ.

3 And they said to him, "Thus says Hezekiah:
'This day is a day of trouble, and rebuke, and blasphemy; for the children
have come to birth, but there is no strength to bring them forth. |
3 فَقَالُوا
لَهُ:
[هَكَذَا
يَقُولُ
حَزَقِيَّا:
هَذَا
الْيَوْمُ
يَوْمُ
شِدَّةٍ
وَتَأْدِيبٍ
وَإِهَانَةٍ،
لأَنَّ
الأَجِنَّةَ
قَدْ دَنَتْ
إِلَى
الْمَوْلِدِ
وَلاَ
قُوَّةَ
لِلْوِلاَدَةِ! |
4 It may be that the Lord your God will hear all
the words of the Rabshakeh, whom his master the king of |
4 لَعَلَّ
الرَّبَّ
إِلَهَكَ
يَسْمَعُ
جَمِيعَ
كَلاَمِ
رَبْشَاقَى
الَّذِي
أَرْسَلَهُ
مَلِكُ
أَشُّورَ
سَيِّدُهُ
لِيُعَيِّرَ
الإِلَهَ
الْحَيَّ، فَيُوَبِّخَ
عَلَى
الْكَلاَمِ
الَّذِي سَمِعَهُ
الرَّبُّ
إِلَهُكَ.
فَارْفَعْ
صَلاَةً
مِنْ أَجْلِ
الْبَقِيَّةِ
الْمَوْجُودَةِ]. |
5 So the servants of King Hezekiah came to
Isaiah. |
5 فَجَاءَ
عَبِيدُ
الْمَلِكِ
حَزَقِيَّا
إِلَى
إِشَعْيَاءَ، |
6 And Isaiah said to them, "Thus you
shall say to your master, 'Thus says the Lord: "Do not be afraid of the
words which you have heard, with which the servants of the king of |
6 فَقَالَ
لَهُمْ
إِشَعْيَاءَ:
[هَكَذَا
تَقُولُونَ
لِسَيِّدِكُمْ:
هَكَذَا
قَالَ الرَّبُّ:
لاَ تَخَفْ
بِسَبَبِ
الْكَلاَمِ
الَّذِي
سَمِعْتَهُ
الَّذِي
جَدَّفَ
عَلَيَّ بِهِ
غِلْمَانُ
مَلِكِ
أَشُّورَ. |
7 Surely I will send a spirit upon him, and he shall
hear a rumor and return to his own land; and I will cause him to fall by the
sword in his own land." ' " |
7 هَئَنَذَا
أَجْعَلُ
فِيهِ
رُوحاً
فَيَسْمَعُ
خَبَراً
وَيَرْجِعُ
إِلَى
أَرْضِهِ،
وَأُسْقِطُهُ
بِالسَّيْفِ
فِي
أَرْضِهِ]. |
8 Then the Rabshakeh returned and found the king of
Assyria warring against Libnah, for he heard that he had departed from |
8 فَرَجَعَ
رَبْشَاقَى
وَوَجَدَ
مَلِكَ أَشُّورَ
يُحَارِبُ
لِبْنَةَ،
لأَنَّهُ
سَمِعَ
أَنَّهُ
ارْتَحَلَ
عَنْ
لَخِيشَ.

9 And the king heard concerning Tirhakah king of |
9 وَسَمِعَ
عَنْ
تِرْهَاقَةَ
مَلِكِ
كُوشٍَ قَوْلاً:
[قَدْ خَرَجَ
لِيُحَارِبَكَ].
فَعَادَ
وَأَرْسَلَ
رُسُلاً
إِلَى
حَزَقِيَّا
قَائِلاً: |
10 "Thus you shall speak to Hezekiah king of |
10 [هَكَذَا
تُكَلِّمُونَ
حَزَقِيَّا
مَلِكَ
يَهُوذَا
قَائِلِينَ:
لاَ
يَخْدَعْكَ
إِلَهُكَ الَّذِي
أَنْتَ
مُتَّكِلٌ
عَلَيْهِ
قَائِلاً:
لاَ
تُدْفَعُ
أُورُشَلِيمُ
إِلَى يَدِ
مَلِكِ
أَشُّورَ. |
11 Look! You have heard what the kings of |
11 إِنَّكَ
قَدْ
سَمِعْتَ
مَا فَعَلَ
مُلُوكُ أَشُّورَ
بِجَمِيعِ
الأَرَاضِي
لإِهْلاَكِهَا،
وَهَلْ
تَنْجُو
أَنْتَ؟
|
12 Have the gods of the nations delivered those whom
my fathers have destroyed, Gozan and |
12 هَلْ
أَنْقَذَتْ
آلِهَةُ
الأُمَمِ
هَؤُلاَءِ
الَّذِينَ
أَهْلَكَهُمْ
آبَائِي
جُوزَانَ
وَحَارَانَ
وَرَصْفَ
وَبَنِي
عَدْنَ الَّذِينَ
فِي
تَلاَسَّارَ؟ |
13 Where is the king of Hamath, the king of Arpad,
and the king of the city of |
13 أَيْنَ
مَلِكُ
حَمَاةَ
وَمَلِكُ
أَرْفَادَ وَمَلِكُ
مَدِينَةِ
سَفْرَوَايِمَ
وَهَيْنَعَ
وَعِوَّا؟] |
14 And Hezekiah received the letter from the hand
of the messengers, and read it; and Hezekiah went up to the house of the
Lord, and spread it before the Lord. |
14 فَأَخَذَ
حَزَقِيَّا
الرَّسَائِلَ
مِنْ أَيْدِي
الرُّسُلِ
وَقَرَأَهَا،
ثُمَّ صَعِدَ
إِلَى
بَيْتِ
الرَّبِّ،
وَنَشَرَهَا
أَمَامَ
الرَّبِّ. |
15 Then Hezekiah prayed before the Lord, and said:
"O Lord God of |
15 وَصَلَّى
حَزَقِيَّا
أَمَامَ
الرَّبِّ
وَقَالَ:
[أَيُّهَا
الرَّبُّ
إِلَهُ
إِسْرَائِيلَ،
الْجَالِسُ
فَوْقَ
الْكَرُوبِيمَ،
أَنْتَ هُوَ
الإِلَهُ
وَحْدَكَ
لِكُلِّ مَمَالِكِ
الأَرْضِ.
أَنْتَ
صَنَعْتَ
السَّمَاءَ
وَالأَرْضَ. |
16 Incline Your ear, O Lord, and hear;
open Your eyes, O Lord, and see; and hear the words of Sennacherib, which he
has sent to reproach the living God. |
16 أَمِلْ
يَا رَبُّ
أُذُنَكَ
وَاسْمَعْ.
افْتَحْ يَا
رَبُّ
عَيْنَيْكَ
وَانْظُرْ،
وَاسْمَعْ
كَلاَمَ
سَنْحَارِيبَ
الَّذِي
أَرْسَلَهُ
لِيُعَيِّرَ
اللَّهَ
الْحَيَّ. |
17 Truly, Lord, the kings of |
17 حَقّاً
يَا رَبُّ
إِنَّ
مُلُوكَ
أَشُّورَ قَدْ
خَرَّبُوا
الأُمَمَ
وَأَرَاضِيَهُمْ |
18 and have cast their gods into the fire; for they
were not gods, but the work of men's hands--wood and stone. Therefore they
destroyed them. |
18 وَدَفَعُوا
آلِهَتَهُمْ
إِلَى
النَّارِ. وَلأَنَّهُمْ
لَيْسُوا
آلِهَةً،
بَلْ صَنْعَةُ
أَيْدِي
النَّاسِ:
خَشَبٌ
وَحَجَرٌ،
فَأَبَادُوهُمْ. |
19 Now therefore, O Lord our God, I pray, save us
from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that You are the
Lord God, You alone." |
19 وَالآنَ
أَيُّهَا
الرَّبُّ
إِلَهُنَا
خَلِّصْنَا
مِنْ
يَدِهِ،
فَتَعْلَمَ
مَمَالِكُ
الأَرْضِ
كُلُّهَا
أَنَّكَ
أَنْتَ
الرَّبُّ
الإِلَهُ
وَحْدَكَ]. |
20 Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah,
saying, "Thus says the Lord God of |
20 فَأَرْسَلَ
إِشَعْيَاءُ
بْنُ آمُوصَ
إِلَى حَزَقِيَّا
قَائِلاً:
[هَكَذَا
قَالَ
الرَّبُّ إِلَهُ
إِسْرَائِيلَ
الَّذِي
صَلَّيْتَ إِلَيْهِ
مِنْ جِهَةِ
سَنْحَارِيبَ
مَلِكِ أَشُّورَ:
قَدْ
سَمِعْتُ. |
21 This is the word which the Lord has spoken
concerning him: 'The virgin, the daughter of |
21 هَذَا
هُوَ
الْكَلاَمُ
الَّذِي
تَكَلَّمَ بِهِ
الرَّبُّ
عَلَيْهِ:
احْتَقَرَتْكَ
وَاسْتَهْزَأَتْ
بِكَ
الْعَذْرَاءُ
ابْنَةُ
صِهْيَوْنَ.
وَنَحْوَكَ
أَنْغَضَتِ
ابْنَةُ
أُورُشَلِيمَ
رَأْسَهَا. |
22 'Whom have you reproached and blasphemed? Against whom have you raised your voice, And lifted up your eyes
on high? Against the Holy One of |
22 مَنْ
عَيَّرْتَ
وَجَدَّفْتَ،
وَعَلَى
مَنْ
عَلَّيْتَ
صَوْتاً،
وَقَدْ رَفَعْتَ
إِلَى
الْعَلاَءِ
عَيْنَيْكَ
عَلَى
قُدُّوسِ
إِسْرَائِيلَ؟ |
23 By your messengers you have reproached the
Lord, And said: "By the multitude of my chariots I have come up to the
height of the mountains, To the limits of |
23 عَلَى
يَدِ
رُسُلِكَ
عَيَّرْتَ
السَّيِّدَ،
وَقُلْتَ:
بِكَثْرَةِ
مَرْكَبَاتِي
قَدْ صَعِدْتُ
إِلَى
عُلْوِ
الْجِبَالِ
إِلَى
عِقَابِ
لُبْنَانَ
وَأَقْطَعُ
أَرْزَهُ
الطَّوِيلَ
وَأَفْضَلَ
سَرْوِهِ،
وَأَدْخُلُ
أَقْصَى
عُلْوِهِ وَعْرَ
كَرْمَلِهِ. |
24 I have dug and drunk strange water, And with the
soles of my feet I have dried up All the brooks of defense." |
24 أَنَا
قَدْ
حَفَرْتُ
وَشَرِبْتُ
مِيَاهاً غَرِيبَةً،
وَأُنَشِّفُ
بِأَسْفَلِ
قَدَمَيَّ
جَمِيعَ
خُلْجَانِ
مِصْرَ.
|
25 'Did you not hear long ago How I made it, From
ancient times that I formed it? Now I have brought it to pass, That you
should be For crushing fortified cities into heaps of ruins. |
25 أَلَمْ
تَسْمَعْ؟
مُنْذُ
الْبَعِيدِ
صَنَعْتُهُ،
مُنْذُ
الأَيَّامِ
الْقَدِيمَةِ
صَوَّرْتُهُ.
الآنَ
أَتَيْتُ
بِهِ.
فَتَكُونُ
لِتَخْرِيبِ
مُدُنٍ
مُحَصَّنَةٍ
حَتَّى تَصِيرَ
رَوَابِيَ
خَرِبَةً. |
26 Therefore their inhabitants had
little power; They were dismayed and confounded; They were as the grass of
the field And the green herb, As the grass on the housetops And grain
blighted before it is grown. |
26 فَسُكَّانُهَا
قِصَارُ
الأَيْدِي
قَدِ ارْتَاعُوا
وَخَجِلُوا.
صَارُوا
كَعُشْبِ
الْحَقْلِ
وَكَالنَّبَاتِ
الأَخْضَرِ،
كَحَشِيشِ
السُّطُوحِ
وَكَمَلْفُوحٍ
قَبْلَ
نُمُوِّهِ. |
27 'But I know your dwelling place, Your going
out and your coming in, And your rage against Me. |
27 وَلَكِنِّي
عَالِمٌ
بِجُلُوسِكَ
وَخُرُوجِكَ
وَدُخُولِكَ
وَهَيَجَانِكَ
عَلَيَّ.
|
28 Because your rage against Me and
your tumult Have come up to My ears, Therefore I will put My hook in your
nose And My bridle in your lips, And I will turn you back By the way which
you came. |
28 لأَنَّ
هَيَجَانَكَ
عَلَيَّ
وَعَجْرَفَتَكَ
قَدْ
صَعِدَا
إِلَى أُذُنَيَّ
أَضَعُ
خِزَامَتِي
فِي أَنْفِكَ
وَلِجَامِي
فِي
شَفَتَيْكَ،
وَأَرُدُّكَ
فِي
الطَّرِيقِ
الَّذِي
جِئْتَ
فِيهِ.
|
29 'This shall be a sign to you: You shall eat
this year such as grows of itself, And in the second year what springs from
the same; Also in the third year sow and reap, Plant vineyards and eat the
fruit of them. |
29 [وَهَذِهِ
لَكَ
عَلاَمَةٌ:
تَأْكُلُونَ
هَذِهِ
السَّنَةَ
زِرِّيعاً،
وَفِي
السَّنَةِ
الثَّانِيَةِ
خِلْفَةً.
وَأَمَّا
السَّنَةُ
الثَّالِثَةُ
فَفِيهَا
تَزْرَعُونَ
وَتَحْصِدُونَ
وَتَغْرِسُونَ
كُرُوماً
وَتَأْكُلُونَ
أَثْمَارَهَا. |
30 And the remnant who have escaped of the house of
|
30 وَيَعُودُ
النَّاجُونَ
مِنْ بَيْتِ
يَهُوذَا،
الْبَاقُونَ،
يَتَأَصَّلُونَ
إِلَى
أَسْفَلٍ
وَيَصْنَعُونَ
ثَمَراً
إِلَى مَا
فَوْقُ.

31 For out of |
31 لأَنَّهُ
مِنْ
أُورُشَلِيمَ
تَخْرُجُ
الْبَقِيَّةُ
وَالنَّاجُونَ
مِنْ جَبَلِ صِهْيَوْنَ.
غَيْرَةُ
رَبِّ
الْجُنُودِ
تَصْنَعُ
هَذَا.

32 "Therefore thus says the Lord concerning the
king of |
32 [لِذَلِكَ
هَكَذَا
قَالَ
الرَّبُّ
عَنْ مَلِكِ
أَشُّورَ:
لاَ
يَدْخُلُ
هَذِهِ
الْمَدِينَةَ
وَلاَ
يَرْمِي
هُنَاكَ
سَهْماً
وَلاَ
يَتَقَدَّمُ
عَلَيْهَا
بِتُرْسٍ
وَلاَ يُقِيمُ
عَلَيْهَا
مِتْرَسَةً. |
33 By the way that he came, By the same shall he
return; And he shall not come into this city,' Says the Lord. |
33 فِي
الطَّرِيقِ
الَّذِي
جَاءَ فِيهِ
يَرْجِعُ،
وَإِلَى
هَذِهِ
الْمَدِينَةِ
لاَ يَدْخُلُ،
يَقُولُ
الرَّبُّ. |
34 'For I will defend this city, to save it For My
own sake and for My servant David's sake.' " |
34 وَأُحَامِي
عَنْ هَذِهِ
الْمَدِينَةِ
لِأُخَلِّصَهَا
مِنْ أَجْلِ
نَفْسِي
وَمِنْ أَجْلِ
دَاوُدَ
عَبْدِي].

35 And it came to pass on a certain night that the
angel of the Lord went out, and killed in the camp of the Assyrians one
hundred and eighty-five thousand; and when people arose early in the morning,
there were the corpses--all dead. |
35 وَكَانَ
فِي تِلْكَ
اللَّيْلَةِ
أَنَّ مَلاَكَ
الرَّبِّ
خَرَجَ
وَضَرَبَ
مِنْ جَيْشِ أَشُّورَ
مِئَةَ
أَلْفٍ
وَخَمْسَةً
وَثَمَانِينَ
أَلْفاً.
وَلَمَّا
بَكَّرُوا
صَبَاحاً
إِذَا هُمْ
جَمِيعاً
جُثَثٌ مَيِّتَةٌ. |
36 So Sennacherib king of Assyria departed and
went away, returned home, and remained at |
36 فَانْصَرَفَ
سَنْحَارِيبُ
مَلِكُ
أَشُّورَ
وَذَهَبَ
رَاجِعاً وَأَقَامَ
فِي
نِينَوَى. |
37 Now it came to pass, as he was worshiping in the
|
37 وَفِيمَا
هُوَ
سَاجِدٌ فِي
بَيْتِ
نِسْرُوخَ
إِلَهِهِ
ضَرَبَهُ
أَدْرَمَّلَكُ
وَشَرَآصَرُ
ابْنَاهُ
بِالسَّيْفِ،
وَنَجَوَا إِلَى
أَرْضِ
أَرَارَاطَ.
وَمَلَكَ
أَسَرْحَدُّونُ
ابْنُهُ
عِوَضاً
عَنْهُ.
