1  Now Benjamin begot Bela his firstborn, Ashbel the second, Aharah* the third,

1  وَبِنْيَامِينُ وَلَدَ: بَالَعَ بِكْرَهُ وَأَشْبِيلَ الثَّانِيَ وَأَخْرَخَ الثَّالِثَ

2  Nohah the fourth, and Rapha the fifth.

2  وَنُوحَةَ الرَّابِعَ وَرَافَا الْخَامِسَ.

3  The sons of Bela were Addar*, Gera, Abihud,

3  وَكَانَ بَنُو بَالَعَ أَدَّارَ وَجَيْرَا وَأَبِيهُودَ

4  Abishua, Naaman, Ahoah,

4  وَأَبِيشُوعَ وَنُعْمَانَ وَأَخُوخَ

5  Gera, Shephuphan, and Huram.

5  وَحَيْرَا وَشَفُوفَانَ وَحُورَامَ.

6  These are the sons of Ehud, who were the heads of the fathers' houses of the inhabitants of Geba, and who forced them to move to Manahath:

6  وَهَؤُلاَءِ بَنُو آحُودَ. هَؤُلاَءِ رُؤُوسُ آبَاءِ سُكَّانِ جَبْعَ وَنَقَلُوهُمْ إِلَى مَنَاحَةَ:

7  Naaman, Ahijah, and Gera who forced them to move. He begot Uzza and Ahihud.

7  أَيْ نُعْمَانُ وَأَخِيَا. وَجَيْرَا هُوَ نَقَلَهُمْ وَوَلَدَ عُزَّا وَأَخِيحُودَ.

8  And Shaharaim had children in the country of Moab, after he had sent away Hushim and Baara his wives.

8  وَشَجْرَايِمُ وَلَدَ فِي بِلاَدِ مُوآبَ بَعْدَ إِطْلاَقِهِ امْرَأَتَيْهِ حُوشِيمَ وَبَعْرَا.

9  By Hodesh his wife he begot Jobab, Zibia, Mesha, Malcam,

9  وَوَلَدَ مِنْ خُودَشَ امْرَأَتِهِ يُوبَابَ وَظِبْيَا وَمَيْشَا وَمَلْكَامَ.

10  Jeuz, Sachiah, and Mirmah. These were his sons, heads of their fathers' houses.

10  وَيَعُوصَ وَشَبْيَا وَمِرْمَةَ. هَؤُلاَءِ بَنُو رُؤُوسِ آبَاءٍ.

11  And by Hushim he begot Abitub and Elpaal.

11  وَمِنْ حُوشِيمَ وَلَدَ أَبِيطُوبَ وَأَلْفَعَلَ.

12  The sons of Elpaal were Eber, Misham, and Shemed, who built Ono and Lod with its towns;

12  وَبَنُو أَلْفَعَلَ: عَابِرُ وَمِشْعَامُ وَشَامِرُ, وَهُوَ بَنَى أُونُوَ وَلُودَ وَقُرَاهَا.

13  and Beriah and Shema, who were heads of their fathers' houses of the inhabitants of Aijalon, who drove out the inhabitants of Gath.

13  وَبَرِيعَةُ وَشَمَعُ. هُمَا رَأْسَا آبَاءٍ لِسُكَّانِ أَيَّلُونَ, وَهُمَا طَرَدَا سُكَّانَ جَتَّ.

14  Ahio, Shashak, Jeremoth,

14  وَأَخِيُو وَشَاشَقُ وَيَرِيمُوتُ

15  Zebadiah, Arad, Eder,

15  وَزَبَدْيَا وَعَرَادُ وَعَادَرُ

16  Michael, Ispah, and Joha were the sons of Beriah.

16  وَمِيخَائِيلُ وَيِشْفَةُ وَيُوخَا أَبْنَاءُ بَرِيعَةَ.

17  Zebadiah, Meshullam, Hizki, Heber,

17  وَزَبَدْيَا وَمَشُلاَّمُ وَحَزْقِي وَحَابِرُ

18  Ishmerai, Jizliah, and Jobab were the sons of Elpaal.

18  وَيِشْمَرَايُ وَيَزَلْيَاهُ وَيُوبَابُ أَبْنَاءُ أَلْفَعَلَ.

19  Jakim, Zichri, Zabdi,

19  وَيَاقِيمُ وَزِكْرِي وَزَبْدِي

20  Elienai, Zillethai, Eliel,

20  وَأَلِيعِينَايُ وَصِلَّتَايُ وَإِيلِيئِيلُ

21  Adaiah, Beraiah, and Shimrath were the sons of Shimei.

21  وَعَدَايَا وَبَرَايَا وَشِمْرَةُ أَبْنَاءُ شَمْعِي.

22  Ishpan, Eber, Eliel,

22  وَيِشْفَانُ وَعَابِرُ وَإِيلِيئِيلُ

23  Abdon, Zichri, Hanan,

23  وَعَبْدُونُ وَزِكْرِي وَحَانَانُ

24  Hananiah, Elam, Antothijah,

24  وَحَنَنْيَا وَعِيلاَمُ وَعَنَثُوثِيَا

25  Iphdeiah, and Penuel were the sons of Shashak.

25  وَيَفَدْيَا وَفَنُوئِيلُ أَبْنَاءُ شَاشَقَ.

26  Shamsherai, Shehariah, Athaliah,

26  وَشِمْشَرَايُ وَشَحَرْيَا وَعَثَلْيَا

27  Jaareshiah, Elijah, and Zichri were the sons of Jeroham.

27  وَيَعْرَشْيَا وَإِيلِيَّا وَزِكْرِي أَبْنَاءُ يَرُوحَامَ.

28  These were heads of the fathers' houses by their generations, chief men. These dwelt in Jerusalem.

28  هَؤُلاَءِ رُؤُوسُ آبَاءٍ. حَسَبَ مَوَالِيدِهِمْ رُؤُوسٌ. هَؤُلاَءِ سَكَنُوا فِي أُورُشَلِيمَ.

29  Now the father of Gibeon, whose wife's name was Maacah, dwelt at Gibeon.

29  وَفِي جِبْعُونَ سَكَنَ أَبُو جِبْعُونَ, وَاسْمُ امْرَأَتِهِ مَعْكَةُ.

30  And his firstborn son was Abdon, then Zur, Kish, Baal, Nadab,

30  وَابْنُهُ الْبِكْرُ عَبْدُونُ, ثُمَّ صُورُ وَقَيْسُ وَبَعَلُ وَنَادَابُ

31  Gedor, Ahio, Zecher,

31  وَجَدُورُ وَأَخِيُو وَزَاكِرُ.

32  and Mikloth, who begot Shimeah. They also dwelt alongside their relatives in Jerusalem, with their brethren.

32  وَمِقْلُوثُ وَلَدَ شَمَاةَ. وَهُمْ أَيْضاً مَعَ إِخْوَتِهِمْ سَكَنُوا فِي أُورُشَلِيمَ مُقَابِلَ إِخْوَتِهِمْ.

33  Ner begot Kish, Kish begot Saul, and Saul begot Jonathan, Malchishua, Abinadab, and Esh-Baal.

33  وَنِيرُ وَلَدَ قَيْسَ, وَقَيْسُ وَلَدَ شَاوُلَ وَشَاوُلُ وَلَدَ يُونَاثَانَ وَمَلْكِيشُوعَ وَأَبِينَادَابَ وَإِشْبَعَلَ.

34  The son of Jonathan was Merib-Baal, and Merib-Baal begot Micah.

34  وَابْنُ يُونَاثَانَ مَرِيبْبَعَلُ, وَمَرِيبْبَعَلُ وَلَدَ مِيخَا.

35  The sons of Micah were Pithon, Melech, Tarea, and Ahaz.

35  وَبَنُو مِيخَا: فِيثُونُ وَمَالِكُ وَتَارِيعُ وَآحَازُ.

36  And Ahaz begot Jehoaddah; Jehoaddah begot Alemeth, Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begot Moza.

36  وَآحَازُ وَلَدَ يَهُوعَدَّةَ وَيَهُوعَدَّةُ وَلَدَ عَلْمَثَ وَعَزْمُوتَ وَزِمْرِي. وَزِمْرِي وَلَدَ مُوصَا

37  Moza begot Binea, Raphah his son, Eleasah his son, and Azel his son.

37  وَمُوصَا وَلَدَ بِنْعَةَ وَرَافَةَ ابْنَهُ وَأَلِعَاسَةَ ابْنَهُ وَآصِيلَ ابْنَهُ

38  Azel had six sons whose names were these: Azrikam, Bocheru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah, and Hanan. All these were the sons of Azel.

38  وَلِآصِيلَ سِتَّةُ بَنِينَ وَهَذِهِ أَسْمَاؤُهُمْ: عَزْرِيقَامُ وَبُكْرُو وَإِسْمَاعِيلُ وَشَعَرْيَا وَعُوبَدْيَا وَحَانَانُ. كُلُّ هَؤُلاَءِ بَنُو آصِيلَ.

39  And the sons of Eshek his brother were Ulam his firstborn, Jeush the second, and Eliphelet the third.

39  وَبَنُو عَاشِقَ أَخِيهِ أُولاَمُ بِكْرُهُ وَيَعُوشُ الثَّانِي وَأَلِيفَلَطُ الثَّالِثُ.

40  The sons of Ulam were mighty men of valor--archers. They had many sons and grandsons, one hundred and fifty in all. These were all sons of Benjamin.

40  وَكَانَ بَنُو أُولاَمَ رِجَالاً جَبَابِرَةَ بَأْسٍ يُغْرِقُونَ فِي الْقِسِيِّ كَثِيرِي الْبَنِينَ وَبَنِي الْبَنِينَ مِئَةً وَخَمْسِينَ. كُلُّ هَؤُلاَءِ مِنْ بَنِي بِنْيَامِينَ.
