1 Then all |
1 وَاجْتَمَعَ
كُلُّ
رِجَالِ
إِسْرَائِيلَ
إِلَى
دَاوُدَ فِي
حَبْرُونَ
قَائِلِينَ:
«هُوَذَا
عَظْمُكَ
وَلَحْمُكَ
نَحْنُ.
|
2 Also, in time past, even when Saul was king, you
were the one who led |
2 وَمُنْذُ
أَمْسِ
وَمَا
قَبْلَهُ
حِينَ كَانَ
شَاوُلُ
مَلِكاً
كُنْتَ
أَنْتَ
تُخْرِجُ
وَتُدْخِلُ
إِسْرَائِيلَ,
وَقَدْ
قَالَ لَكَ
الرَّبُّ
إِلَهُكَ:
أَنْتَ
تَرْعَى شَعْبِي
إِسْرَائِيلَ
وَأَنْتَ
تَكُونُ
رَئِيساً
لِشَعْبِي
إِسْرَائِيلَ». |
3 Therefore all the elders of |
3 وَجَاءَ
جَمِيعُ
شُيُوخِ
إِسْرَائِيلَ
إِلَى
الْمَلِكِ
إِلَى
حَبْرُونَ,
فَقَطَعَ دَاوُدُ
مَعَهُمْ عَهْداً
فِي
حَبْرُونَ
أَمَامَ
الرَّبِّ,
وَمَسَحُوا
دَاوُدَ
مَلِكاً
عَلَى
إِسْرَائِيلَ
حَسَبَ
كَلاَمِ
الرَّبِّ
عَنْ يَدِ
صَمُوئِيلَ. |
4 And David and all |
4 وَذَهَبَ
دَاوُدُ
وَكُلُّ
إِسْرَائِيلَ
إِلَى
أُورُشَلِيمَ
(أَيْ
يَبُوسَ).
وَهُنَاكَ الْيَبُوسِيُّونَ
سُكَّانُ
الأَرْضِ. |
5 Then the inhabitants of Jebus said to David,
"You shall not come in here!" Nevertheless David took the
stronghold of |
5 وَقَالَ
سُكَّانُ
يَبُوسَ
لِدَاوُدَ:
«لاَ تَدْخُلْ
إِلَى هُنَا».
فَأَخَذَ
دَاوُدُ
حِصْنَ
صِهْيَوْنَ
(هِيَ
مَدِينَةُ
دَاوُدَ).
|
6 Now David said, "Whoever attacks the
Jebusites first shall be chief and captain." And Joab the son of Zeruiah
went up first, and became chief. |
6 وَقَالَ
دَاوُدُ:
«إِنَّ
الَّذِي
يَضْرِبُ الْيَبُوسِيِّينَ
أَوَّلاً
يَكُونُ
رَأْساً
وَقَائِداً».
فَصَعِدَ
أَوَّلاً
يُوآبُ ابْنُ
صَرُويَةَ,
فَصَارَ
رَأْساً.

7 Then David dwelt in the stronghold; therefore
they called it the City of |
7 وَأَقَامَ
دَاوُدُ فِي
الْحِصْنِ,
لِذَلِكَ دَعُوهُ
«مَدِينَةَ
دَاوُدَ».
|
8 And he built the city around it, from the Millo to
the surrounding area. Joab repaired the rest of the city. |
8 وَبَنَى
الْمَدِينَةَ
حَوَالَيْهَا
مِنَ
الْقَلْعَةِ
إِلَى مَا
حَوْلِهَا. وَيُوآبُ
جَدَّدَ
سَائِرَ
الْمَدِينَةِ. |
9 Then David went on and became great, and the Lord
of hosts was with him. |
9 وَكَانَ
دَاوُدُ
يَتَزَايَدُ
مُتَعَظِّماً
وَرَبُّ
الْجُنُودِ
مَعَهُ
|
10 Now these were the heads of the mighty men whom
David had, who strengthened themselves with him in his kingdom, with all |
10 وَهَؤُلاَءِ
رُؤَسَاءُ
الأَبْطَالِ
الَّذِينَ
لِدَاوُدَ,
الَّذِينَ
تَشَدَّدُوا
مَعَهُ فِي
مُلْكِهِ
مَعَ كُلِّ
إِسْرَائِيلَ
لِتَمْلِيكِهِ
حَسَبَ
كَلاَمِ الرَّبِّ
مِنْ جِهَةِ
إِسْرَائِيلَ. |
11 And this is the number of the mighty men whom
David had: Jashobeam the son of a Hachmonite, chief of the captains; he had
lifted up his spear against three hundred, killed by him at one time. |
11 وَهَذَا
هُوَ عَدَدُ
الأَبْطَالِ
الَّذِينَ
لِدَاوُدَ:
يَشُبْعَامُ
بْنُ
حَكْمُونِي رَئِيسُ
الثَّوَالِثِ.
هُوَ هَزَّ
رُمْحَهُ
عَلَى
ثَلاَثِ
مِئَةٍ
قَتَلَهُمْ
دُفْعَةً
وَاحِدَةً. |
12 After him was Eleazar the son of Dodo, the
Ahohite, who was one of the three mighty men. |
12 وَبَعْدَهُ
أَلِعَازَارُ
بْنُ دُودُو
الأَخُوخِيُّ.
هُوَ مِنَ
الأَبْطَالِ
الثَّلاَثَةِ. |
13 He was with David at Pasdammim. Now there the
Philistines were gathered for battle, and there was a piece of ground full of
barley. And the people fled from the Philistines. |
13 هُوَ
كَانَ مَعَ
دَاوُدَ فِي
فَسَّ
دَمِّيمَ وَقَدِ
اجْتَمَعَ
هُنَاكَ
الْفِلِسْطِينِيُّونَ
لِلْحَرْبِ.
وَكَانَتْ
قِطْعَةُ الْحَقْلِ
مَمْلُوءَةً
شَعِيراً,
فَهَرَبَ
الشَّعْبُ
مِنْ
أَمَامِ
الْفِلِسْطِينِيِّينَ. |
14 But they stationed themselves in the middle of
that field, defended it, and killed the Philistines. So the Lord brought
about a great victory. |
14 وَوَقَفُوا
فِي وَسَطِ
الْقِطْعَةِ
وَأَنْقَذُوهَا,
وَضَرَبُوا
الْفِلِسْطِينِيِّينَ.
وَخَلَّصَ
الرَّبُّ
خَلاَصاً
عَظِيماً. |
15 Now three of the thirty chief men went down to
the rock to David, into the |
15 وَنَزَلَ
ثَلاَثَةٌ
مِنَ
الثَّلاَثِينَ
رَئِيساً
إِلَى الصَّخْرِ
إِلَى
دَاوُدَ
إِلَى
مَغَارَةِ
عَدُلاَّمَ
وَجَيْشُ
الْفِلِسْطِينِيِّينَ
نَازِلٌ فِي
وَادِي
الرَّفَائِيِّينَ. |
16 David was then in the stronghold, and the garrison
of the Philistines was then in |
16 وَكَانَ
دَاوُدُ
حِينَئِذٍ
فِي
الْحِصْنِ, وَحَفَظَةُ
الْفِلِسْطِينِيِّينَ
حِينَئِذٍ
فِي بَيْتِ
لَحْمٍ.
|
17 And David said with longing, "Oh, that
someone would give me a drink of water from the well of |
17 فَتَأَوَّهَ
دَاوُدُ
وَقَالَ:
«مَنْ
يَسْقِينِي
مَاءً مِنْ
بِئْرِ
بَيْتِ
لَحْمٍ
الَّتِي
عِنْدَ الْبَابِ؟» |
18 So the three broke through the camp of the
Philistines, drew water from the well of |
18 فَشَقَّ
الثَّلاَثَةُ
مَحَلَّةَ
الْفِلِسْطِينِيِّينَ
وَاسْتَقُوا
مَاءً مِنْ
بِئْرِ
بَيْتِ
لَحْمٍ
الَّتِي
عِنْدَ
الْبَابِ
وَحَمَلُوهُ
وَأَتُوا
بِهِ إِلَى
دَاوُدَ,
فَلَمْ
يَشَأْ
دَاوُدُ
أَنْ
يَشْرَبَهُ
بَلْ
سَكَبَهُ
لِلرَّبِّ |
19 And he said, "Far be it from me, O my God,
that I should do this! Shall I drink the blood of these men who have put
their lives in jeopardy? For at the risk of their lives they brought
it." Therefore he would not drink it. These things were done by the
three mighty men. |
19 وَقَالَ:
«حَاشَا لِي
مِنْ قِبَلِ
إِلَهِي أَنْ
أَفْعَلَ
ذَلِكَ!
أَأَشْرَبُ
دَمَ هَؤُلاَءِ
الرِّجَالِ
بِأَنْفُسِهِمْ؟
لأَنَّهُمْ
إِنَّمَا
أَتُوا بِهِ
بِأَنْفُسِهِمْ».
وَلَمْ
يَشَأْ أَنْ
يَشْرَبَهُ.
هَذَا مَا
فَعَلَهُ
الأَبْطَالُ
الثَّلاَثَةُ. |
20 Abishai the brother of Joab was
chief of another three
He had lifted up his spear against three hundred men, killed them, and
won a name among these three. |
20 وَأَبْشَايُ
أَخُو
يُوآبَ
كَانَ رَئِيسَ
ثَلاَثَةٍ.
وَهُوَ قَدْ
هَزَّ
رُمْحَهُ عَلَى
ثَلاَثِ
مِئَةٍ
فَقَتَلَهُمْ,
فَكَانَ
لَهُ اسْمٌ
بَيْنَ
الثَّلاَثَةِ. |
21 Of the three he was more honored than the other
two men. Therefore he became their captain. However he did not attain to the
first three. |
21 مِنَ
الثَّلاَثَةِ
أُكْرِمَ
عَلَى
الاِثْنَيْنِ
وَكَانَ
لَهُمَا
رَئِيساً,
إِلاَّ أَنَّهُ
لَمْ يَصِلْ
إِلَى
الثَّلاَثَةِ
الأُوَلِ. |
22 Benaiah was the son of Jehoiada,
the son of a valiant man from Kabzeel, who had done many deeds. He had killed
two lion-like heroes of |
22 بَنَايَا
بْنُ
يَهُويَادَاعَ
ابْنِ ذِي
بَأْسٍ
كَثِيرِ
الأَفْعَالِ
مِنْ
قَبْصِيئِيلَ.
هُوَ
الَّذِي
ضَرَبَ
أَسَدَيْ
مُوآبَ, وَهُوَ
الَّذِي
نَزَلَ وَضَرَبَ
أَسَداً فِي
وَسَطِ
جُبٍّ
يَوْمَ الثَّلْجِ. |
23 And he killed an Egyptian, a man of great
height, five cubits tall. In the Egyptian's hand there was a spear like a
weaver's beam; and he went down to him with a staff, wrested the spear out of
the Egyptian's hand, and killed him with his own spear. |
23 وَهُوَ
ضَرَبَ
الرَّجُلَ
الْمِصْرِيَّ
الَّذِي
قَامَتُهُ
خَمْسُ
أَذْرُعٍ,
وَفِي يَدِ
الْمِصْرِيِّ
رُمْحٌ
كَنَوْلِ
النَّسَّاجِينَ.
فَنَزَلَ
إِلَيْهِ
بِعَصاً
وَخَطَفَ
الرُّمْحَ
مِنْ يَدِ
الْمِصْرِيِّ
وَقَتَلَهُ
بِرُمْحِهِ. |
24 These things Benaiah the son of Jehoiada did, and
won a name among three mighty men. |
24 هَذَا
مَا
فَعَلَهُ
بَنَايَا
بْنُ
يَهُويَادَاعَ,
فَكَانَ
لَهُ اسْمٌ
بَيْنَ
الثَّلاَثَةِ
الأَبْطَالِ. |
25 Indeed he was more honored than the thirty, but he
did not attain to the first three. And David appointed him over his guard. |
25 هُوَذَا
أُكْرِمَ
عَلَى
الثَّلاَثِينَ
إِلاَّ
أَنَّهُ
لَمْ يَصِلْ
إِلَى
الثَّلاَثَةِ.
فَجَعَلَهُ
دَاوُدُ
مِنْ
أَصْحَابِ
سِرِّهِ.

26 Also the mighty warriors were Asahel the
brother of Joab, Elhanan the son of Dodo of Bethlehem, |
26 وَأَبْطَالُ
الْجَيْشِ
هُمْ:
عَسَائِيلُ
أَخُو
يُوآبَ,
وَأَلْحَانَانُ
بْنُ
دُودُوَ مِنْ
بَيْتِ
لَحْمٍ,
|
27 Shammoth the Harorite, Helez the Pelonite, |
27 شَمُّوتُ
الْهَرُورِيُّ,
حَالَصُ
الْفَلُونِيُّ, |
28 Ira the son of Ikkesh the Tekoite, Abiezer
the Anathothite, |
28 عِيرَا
بْنُ
عِقِّيشَ
التَّقُوعِيُّ,
أَبِيعَزَرُ
الْعَنَاثُوثِيُّ, |
29 Sibbechai the Hushathite, Ilai the Ahohite,
|
29 سِبْكَايُ
الْحُوشَاتِيُّ,
عِيلاَيُ الأَخُوخِيُّ, |
30 Maharai the Netophathite, Heled the son of
Baanah the Netophathite, |
30 مَهْرَايُ
النَّطُوفَاتِيُّ,
خَالِدُ بْنُ
بَعْنَةَ
النَّطُوفَاتِيُّ, |
31 Ithai the son of Ribai of Gibeah, of the
sons of Benjamin, Benaiah the Pirathonite, |
31 إِتَّايُ
بْنُ
رِيبَايَ
مِنْ
جِبْعَةِ
بَنِي
بِنْيَامِينَ,
بَنَايَا
الْفَرْعَتُونِيُّ, |
32 Hurai of the brooks of Gaash, Abiel the
Arbathite, |
32 حُورَايُ
مِنْ
أَوْدِيَةِ
جَاعَشَ,
أَبِيئِيلُ
الْعَرَبَاتِيُّ, |
33 Azmaveth the Baharumite, Eliahba the
Shaalbonite, |
33 عَزْمُوتُ
الْبَحْرُومِيُّ,
إِلْيَحْبَا
الشَّعْلُبُونِيُّ. |
34 the sons of Hashem the Gizonite, Jonathan
the son of Shageh the Hararite, |
34 بَنُو
هَاشِمَ
الْجَزُونِيُّ,
يُونَاثَانُ
بْنُ
شَاجَايَ
الْهَرَارِيُِّ, |
35 Ahiam the son of Sacar the Hararite,
Eliphal the son of |
35 أَخِيآمُ
بْنُ
سَاكَارَ
الْهَرَارِيُِّ,
أَلِيفَالُ
بْنُ أُورَ, |
36 Hepher the Mecherathite, Ahijah the
Pelonite, |
36 حَافَرُ
الْمَكِيرَاتِيُّ,
وَأَخِيَا
الْفَلُونِيُّ, |
37 Hezro the Carmelite, Naarai the son of
Ezbai, |
37 حَصْرُو
الْكَرْمَلِيُّ,
نَعْرَايُ
بْنُ أَزْبَايَ, |
38 Joel the brother of Nathan, Mibhar the son
of Hagri, |
38 يُوئِيلُ
أَخُو
نَاثَانَ,
مَبْحَارُ
بْنُ هَجْرِي, |
39 Zelek the Ammonite, Naharai the Berothite (the
armorbearer of Joab the son of Zeruiah), |
39 صَالِقُ
الْعَمُّونِيُّ,
نَحْرَايُ
الْبَئِيرُوتِيُّ,
(حَامِلُ
سِلاَحِ
يُوآبَ ابْنِ
صَرُويَةَ), |
40 Ira the Ithrite, Gareb the Ithrite, |

جَارِبُ

41 Uriah the Hittite, Zabad the son of Ahlai, |
41 أُورِيَّا
الْحِثِّيُّ,
زَابَادُ
بْنُ أَحْلاَيَ, |
42 Adina the son of Shiza the Reubenite (a
chief of the Reubenites) and thirty with him, |
42 عَدِينَا

الرَّأُوبَيْنِيُّ

الرَّأُوبَيْنِيِّينَ)
وَمَعَهُ

43 Hanan the son of Maachah, Joshaphat the

الْمَثْنِيُّ, |
44 Uzzia the Ashterathite, Shama and Jeiel the
sons of Hotham the Aroerite, |

الْعَشْتَرُوتِيُّ,
شَامَاعُ وَيَعُوئِيلُ
ابْنَا
حُوثَامَ
الْعَرُوعِيرِيِ, |
45 Jediael the son of Shimri, and Joha his
brother, the Tizite, |
45 يَدِيعَئِيلُ
بْنُ
شِمْرِي
وَيُوحَا
أَخُوهُ
التِّيصِيُّ, |
46 Eliel the Mahavite, Jeribai and Joshaviah
the sons of Elnaam, Ithmah the Moabite, |
46 إِيلِيئِيلُ
مِنْ
مَحْوِيمَ,
وَيَرِيبَايُ
وَيُوشُويَا
ابْنَا
أَلْنَعَمَ
وَيِثْمَةُ
الْمُوآبِيُّ, |
47 Eliel, Obed, and Jaasiel the Mezobaite. |
47 إِيلِيئِيلُ
وَعُوبِيدُ
وَيَعِيسِيئِيلُ
مِنْ
مَصُوبَايَا. |
