1 Now when the queen of |
1 وَسَمِعَتْ
مَلِكَةُ
سَبَا
بِخَبَرِ
سُلَيْمَانَ
فَأَتَتْ
لِتَمْتَحِنَ
سُلَيْمَانَ
بِمَسَائِلَ
إِلَى
أُورُشَلِيمَ
بِمَوْكِبٍ
عَظِيمٍ
جِدّاً
وَجِمَالٍ
حَامِلَةٍ
أَطْيَاباً
وَذَهَباً
بِكَثْرَةٍ
وَحِجَارَةً
كَرِيمَةً
فَأَتَتْ
إِلَى
سُلَيْمَانَ
وَكَلَّمَتْهُ
عَنْ كُلِّ
مَا فِي
قَلْبِهَا. |
2 So Solomon answered all her questions; there
was nothing so difficult for Solomon that he could not explain it to her. |
2 فَأَخْبَرَهَا
سُلَيْمَانُ
بِكُلِّ
كَلاَمِهَا.
وَلَمْ
يُخْفَ عَنْ
سُلَيْمَانَ
أَمْرٌ
إِلاَّ
وَأَخْبَرَهَا
بِهِ. |
3 And when the queen of |
3 فَلَمَّا
رَأَتْ
مَلِكَةُ
سَبَا
حِكْمَةَ سُلَيْمَانَ
وَالْبَيْتَ
الَّذِي
بَنَاهُ
|
4 the food on his table, the seating of his
servants, the service of his waiters and their apparel, his cupbearers and
their apparel, and his entryway by which he went up to the house of the Lord,
there was no more spirit in her. |
4 وَطَعَامَ
مَائِدَتِهِ
وَمَجْلِسَ
عَبِيدِهِ
وَمَوْقِفَ
خُدَّامِهِ
وَمَلاَبِسَهُمْ
وَسُقَاتَهُ
وَمَلاَبِسَهُمْ
وَمُحْرَقَاتِهِ
الَّتِي
كَانَ
يُصْعِدُهَا
فِي بَيْتِ
الرَّبِّ
لَمْ تَبْقَ
فِيهَا
رُوحٌ
بَعْدُ.
|
5 Then she said to the king: "It was a true
report which I heard in my own land about your words and your wisdom. |
5 فَقَالَتْ
لِلْمَلِكِ:
[صَحِيحٌ
الْخَبَرُ
الَّذِي
سَمِعْتُهُ فِي
أَرْضِي
عَنْ
أُمُورِكَ
وَعَنْ
حِكْمَتِكَ! |
6 However I did not believe their
words until I came and saw with my own eyes; and indeed the half of the
greatness of your wisdom was not told me. You exceed the fame of which I
heard. |
6 وَلَمْ
أُصَدِّقْ
كَلاَمَهُمْ
حَتَّى جِئْتُ
وَأَبْصَرَتْ
عَيْنَايَ
فَهُوَذَا
لَمْ
أُخْبَرْ
بِنِصْفِ
كَثْرَةِ
حِكْمَتِكَ. زِدْتَ
عَلَى
الْخَبَرِ
الَّذِي
سَمِعْتُهُ. |
7 Happy are your men and happy are these your
servants, who stand continually before you and hear your wisdom! |
7 فَطُوبَى
لِرِجَالِكَ
وَطُوبَى
لِعَبِيدِكَ
هَؤُلاَءِ
الْوَاقِفِينَ
أَمَامَكَ
دَائِماً
وَالسَّامِعِينَ
حِكْمَتَكَ. |
8 Blessed be the Lord your God, who
delighted in you, setting you on His throne to be king for the Lord your God!
Because your God has loved |
8 لِيَكُنْ
مُبَارَكاً
الرَّبُّ
إِلَهُكَ الَّذِي
سُرَّ بِكَ
وَجَعَلَكَ
عَلَى
كُرْسِيِّهِ
مَلِكاً لِلرَّبِّ
إِلَهِكَ.
لأَنَّ
إِلَهَكَ
أَحَبَّ
إِسْرَائِيلَ
لِيُثْبِتَهُ
إِلَى الأَبَدِ
قَدْ
جَعَلَكَ
عَلَيْهِمْ
مَلِكاً لِتُجْرِيَ
حُكْماً
وَعَدْلاً]. |
9 And she gave the king one hundred and twenty
talents of gold, spices in great abundance, and precious stones; there never
were any spices such as those the queen of |
9 وَأَهْدَتْ
لِلْمَلِكِ
مِئَةً
وَعِشْرِينَ
وَزْنَةَ
ذَهَبٍ
وَأَطْيَاباً
كَثِيرَةً
جِدّاً
وَحِجَارَةً
كَرِيمَةً
وَلَمْ يَكُنْ
مِثْلُ
ذَلِكَ
الطِّيبِ
الَّذِي
أَهْدَتْهُ
مَلِكَةُ
سَبَا
لِلْمَلِكِ
سُلَيْمَانَ. |
10 Also, the servants of Hiram and the servants of
Solomon, who brought gold from Ophir, brought algum wood and precious stones.
|
10 وَكَذَا
عَبِيدُ
حُورَامَ
وَعَبِيدُ
سُلَيْمَانَ
الَّذِينَ
جَلَبُوا
ذَهَباً
مِنْ
أُوفِيرَ
أَتُوا
بِخَشَبِ
الصَّنْدَلِ
وَحِجَارَةٍ
كَرِيمَةٍ. |
11 And the king made walkways of the algum wood for
the house of the Lord and for the king's house, also harps and stringed
instruments for singers; and there were none such as these seen before in the
|
11 وَعَمِلَ
الْمَلِكُ
خَشَبَ
الصَّنْدَلِ
دَرَجاً
لِبَيْتِ
الرَّبِّ
وَبَيْتِ
الْمَلِكِ
وَأَعْوَاداً
وَرَبَاباً
وَلَمْ يُرَ
مِثْلُهَا
قَبْلُ فِي
أَرْضِ
يَهُوذَا. |
12 Now King Solomon gave to the queen of |
12 وَأَعْطَى
الْمَلِكُ
سُلَيْمَانُ
مَلِكَةَ
سَبَا كُلَّ
مُشْتَهَاهَا
الَّذِي
طَلَبَتْ
فَضْلاً
عَمَّا
أَتَتْ بِهِ
إِلَى
الْمَلِكِ.
فَانْصَرَفَتْ
وَذَهَبَتْ إِلَى
أَرْضِهَا
هِيَ
وَعَبِيدُهَا. |
13 The weight of gold that came to Solomon
yearly was six hundred and sixty-six talents of gold, |
13 وَكَانَ
وَزْنُ
الذَّهَبِ
الَّذِي
جَاءَ سُلَيْمَانَ
فِي سَنَةٍ
وَاحِدَةٍ
سِتَّ
مِئَةٍ
وَسِتّاً
وَسِتِّينَ
وَزْنَةَ ذَهَبٍ |
14 besides what the traveling
merchants and traders brought. And all the kings of |
14 فَضْلاً
عَنِ
الَّذِي
جَاءَ بِهِ
التُّجَّارُ
وَالْمُسْتَبْضِعُونَ.
وَكُلُّ
مُلُوكِ
الْعَرَبِ
وَوُلاَةُ
الأَرْضِ
كَانُوا
يَأْتُونَ
بِذَهَبٍ
وَفِضَّةٍ
إِلَى
سُلَيْمَانَ. |
15 And King Solomon made two hundred large shields
of hammered gold; six hundred shekels of hammered gold went into each shield.

15 وَعَمِلَ
الْمَلِكُ
سُلَيْمَانُ
مِئَتَيْ
تُرْسٍ مِنْ
ذَهَبٍ
مُطَرَّقٍ
خَصَّ التُّرْسَ
الْوَاحِدَ
سِتُّ
مِئَةِ
شَاقِلٍ مِنَ
الذَّهَبِ
الْمُطَرَّقِ |
16 He also made three hundred shields of hammered
gold; three hundred shekels of gold went into each shield. The king put them
in the House of the |
16 وَثَلاَثَ
مِئَةِ
مِجَنٍّ
مِنْ ذَهَبٍ
مُطَرَّقٍ
خَصَّ
الْمِجَنَّ
الْوَاحِدَ
ثَلاَثُ
مِئَةِ
شَاقِلٍ
مِنَ
الذَّهَبِ.
وَجَعَلَهَا
الْمَلِكُ
فِي بَيْتِ
وَعْرِ
لُبْنَانَ. |
17 Moreover the king made a great
throne of ivory, and overlaid it with pure gold. |
17 وَعَمِلَ
الْمَلِكُ
كُرْسِيّاً
عَظِيماً مِنْ
عَاجٍ
وَغَشَّاهُ
بِذَهَبٍ
خَالِصٍ.
|
18 The throne had six steps, with a footstool of
gold, which were fastened to the throne; there were armrests on either side
of the place of the seat, and two lions stood beside the armrests. |
18 وَلِلْكُرْسِيِّ
سِتُّ
دَرَجَاتٍ.
وَلِلْكُرْسِيِّ
مَوْطِئٌ
مِنْ ذَهَبٍ
كُلُّهَا مُتَّصِلَةٌ
وَيَدَانِ
مِنْ هُنَا
وَمِنْ هُنَاكَ
عَلَى
مَكَانِ
الْجُلُوسِ
وَأَسَدَانِ
وَاقِفَانِ
بِجَانِبِ
الْيَدَيْنِ. |
19 Twelve lions stood there, one on each side of the
six steps; nothing like this had been made for any other kingdom. |
19 وَاثْنَا
عَشَرَ
أَسَداً
وَاقِفَةٌ
هُنَاكَ
عَلَى
الدَّرَجَاتِ
السِّتِّ
مِنْ هُنَا وَمِنْ
هُنَاكَ.
لَمْ
يُعْمَلْ
مِثْلُهُ
فِي جَمِيعِ
الْمَمَالِكِ. |
20 All King Solomon's drinking vessels were gold,
and all the vessels of the House of the |
20 وَجَمِيعُ
آنِيَةِ
شُرْبِ
الْمَلِكِ
سُلَيْمَانَ
مِنْ ذَهَبٍ
وَجَمِيعُ
آنِيَةِ بَيْتِ
وَعْرِ
لُبْنَانَ
مِنْ ذَهَبٍ
خَالِصٍ. لَمْ
تُحْسَبِ
الْفِضَّةُ
شَيْئاً فِي
أَيَّامِ
سُلَيْمَانَ |
21 For the king's ships went to Tarshish with the
servants of Hiram. Once every three years the merchant ships came, bringing
gold, silver, ivory, apes, and monkeys. |
21 لأَنَّ
سُفُنَ
الْمَلِكِ
كَانَتْ
تَسِيرُ إِلَى
تَرْشِيشَ
مَعَ
عَبِيدِ
حُورَامَ
وَكَانَتْ
سُفُنُ
تَرْشِيشَ
تَأْتِي
مَرَّةً فِي
كُلِّ
ثَلاَثِ سِنِينَ
حَامِلَةً
ذَهَباً
وَفِضَّةً
وَعَاجاً
وَقُرُوداً
وَطَوَاوِيسَ. |
22 So King Solomon surpassed all the kings of the
earth in riches and wisdom. |
22 فَتَعَظَّمَ
الْمَلِكُ
سُلَيْمَانُ
عَلَى كُلِّ
مُلُوكِ
الأَرْضِ
فِي
الْغِنَى
وَالْحِكْمَةِ. |
23 And all the kings of the earth sought the
presence of Solomon to hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart. |
23 وَكَانَ
جَمِيعُ
مُلُوكِ
الأَرْضِ
يَلْتَمِسُونَ
وَجْهَ
سُلَيْمَانَ
لِيَسْمَعُوا
حِكْمَتَهُ
الَّتِي
جَعَلَهَا
اللَّهُ فِي
قَلْبِهِ. |
24 Each man brought his present: articles of silver
and gold, garments, armor, spices, horses, and mules, at a set rate year by
year. |
24 وَكَانُوا
يَأْتُونَ
كُلُّ
وَاحِدٍ
بِهَدِيَّتِهِ
بِآنِيَةِ
فِضَّةٍ
وَآنِيَةِ
ذَهَبٍ
وَحُلَلٍ
وَسِلاَحٍ
وَأَطْيَابٍ
وَخَيْلٍ وَبِغَالٍ
سَنَةً
فَسَنَةً. |
25 Solomon had four thousand stalls
for horses and chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen whom he stationed in
the chariot cities and with the king at |
25 وَكَانَ
لِسُلَيْمَانَ
أَرْبَعَةُ
آلاَفِ مِذْوَدِ
خَيْلٍ وَمَرْكَبَاتٍ
وَاثْنَا
عَشَرَ
أَلْفَ
فَارِسٍ
فَجَعَلَهَا
فِي مُدُنِ
الْمَرْكَبَاتِ
وَمَعَ
الْمَلِكِ
فِي
أُورُشَلِيمَ. |
26 So he reigned over all the kings from the
River to the land of the Philistines, as far as the border of Egypt. |
26 وَكَانَ
مُتَسَلِّطاً
عَلَى
جَمِيعِ
الْمُلُوكِ
مِنَ النَّهْرِ
إِلَى
أَرْضِ
الْفِلِسْطِينِيِّينَ
وَإِلَى
تُخُومِ
مِصْرَ.

27 The king made silver as common in |
27 وَجَعَلَ
الْمَلِكُ
الْفِضَّةَ
فِي
أُورُشَلِيمَ
مِثْلَ
الْحِجَارَةِ
وَجَعَلَ
الأَرْزَ مِثْلَ
الْجُمَّيْزِ
الَّذِي فِي
السَّهْلِ
فِي
الْكَثْرَةِ. |
28 And they brought horses to Solomon from |
28 وَكَانَ
مُخْرَجُ
خَيْلِ
سُلَيْمَانَ
مِنْ مِصْرَ
وَمِنْ
جَمِيعِ
الأَرَاضِي. |
29 Now the rest of the acts of Solomon, first and
last, are they not written in the book of Nathan the prophet, in the prophecy
of Ahijah the Shilonite, and in the visions of Iddo the seer concerning
Jeroboam the son of Nebat? |
29 وَبَقِيَّةُ
أُمُورِ
سُلَيْمَانَ
الأُولَى
وَالأَخِيرَةِ
مَكْتُوبَةٌ
فِي أَخْبَارِ
نَاثَانَ
النَّبِيِّ
وَفِي
نُبُوَّةِ أَخِيَّا
الشِّيلُونِيِّ
وَفِي رُؤَى
يَعْدُو
الرَّائِي
عَلَى
يَرُبْعَامَ
بْنِ نَبَاطَ. |
30 Solomon reigned in |
30 وَمَلَكَ
سُلَيْمَانُ
فِي
أُورُشَلِيمَ
عَلَى كُلِّ
إِسْرَائِيلَ
أَرْبَعِينَ
سَنَةً.
|
31 Then Solomon rested with his fathers, and was
buried in the City of |
31 ثُمَّ
اضْطَجَعَ
سُلَيْمَانُ
مَعَ
آبَائِهِ
فَدَفَنُوهُ
فِي
مَدِينَةِ
دَاوُدَ
أَبِيهِ. وَمَلَكَ
رَحُبْعَامُ
ابْنُهُ
عِوَضاً عَنْهُ. |
