PROVERBS 27 |
امثال
27 |
1 Do not boast about tomorrow, For you do not know what
a day may bring forth. |
1 لاَ
تَفْتَخِرْ
بِالْغَدِ
لأَنَّكَ
لاَ تَعْلَمُ
مَاذَا
يَلِدُهُ
يَوْمٌ.
|
2 Let another man praise you, and not your own
mouth; A stranger, and not your own lips. |
2 لِيَمْدَحْكَ
الْغَرِيبُ
لاَ فَمُكَ
الأَجْنَبِيُّ
لاَ
شَفَتَاكَ. |
3 A stone is heavy and sand is weighty, But a fool's
wrath is heavier than both of them. |
3 اَلْحَجَرُ
ثَقِيلٌ
وَالرَّمْلُ
ثَقِيلٌ وَغَضَبُ
الْجَاهِلِ
أَثْقَلُ
مِنْهُمَا
كِلَيْهِمَا. |
4 Wrath is cruel and anger a torrent, But who is
able to stand before jealousy? |
4 اَلْغَضَبُ
قَسَاوَةٌ
وَالسَّخَطُ
جُرَافٌ
وَمَنْ
يَقِفُ
قُدَّامَ
الْحَسَدِ؟ |
5 Open rebuke is better Than love carefully
concealed. |
5 اَلتَّوْبِيخُ
الظَّاهِرُ
خَيْرٌ مِنَ
الْحُبِّ
الْمُسْتَتِرِ. |
6 Faithful are the wounds of a friend,
But the kisses of an enemy are deceitful. |
6 أَمِينَةٌ
هِيَ
جُرُوحُ
الْمُحِبِّ
وَغَاشَّةٌ
هِيَ قُبْلاَتُ
الْعَدُوِّ. |
7 A satisfied soul loathes the honeycomb, But to a
hungry soul every bitter thing is sweet. |
7 اَلنَّفْسُ
الشَّبْعَانَةُ
تَدُوسُ
الْعَسَلَ
وَلِلنَّفْسِ
الْجَائِعَةِ
كُلُّ مُرٍّ
حُلْوٌ.
|
8 Like a bird that wanders from its nest Is a man
who wanders from his place. |
8 مِثْلُ
الْعُصْفُورِ
التَّائِهِ
مِنْ عُشِّهِ
هَكَذَا
الرَّجُلُ
التَّائِهُ
مِنْ مَكَانِهِ. |
9 Ointment and perfume delight the
heart, And the sweetness of a man's friend gives delight by hearty counsel. |
9 اَلدُّهْنُ
وَالْبَخُورُ
يُفَرِّحَانِ
الْقَلْبَ
وَحَلاَوَةُ
الصَّدِيقِ
مِنْ
مَشُورَةِ
النَّفْسِ. |
10 Do not forsake your own friend or your father's
friend, Nor go to your brother's house in the day of your calamity; Better is
a neighbor nearby than a brother far away. |
10 لاَ
تَتْرُكْ
صَدِيقَكَ
وَصَدِيقَ
أَبِيكَ وَلاَ
تَدْخُلْ
بَيْتَ
أَخِيكَ فِي
يَوْمِ بَلِيَّتِكَ.
الْجَارُ
الْقَرِيبُ
خَيْرٌ مِنَ
الأَخِ
الْبَعِيدِ. |
11 My son, be wise, and make my heart glad, That I
may answer him who reproaches me. |
11 يَا
ابْنِي كُنْ
حَكِيماً
وَفَرِّحْ
قَلْبِي
فَأُجِيبَ
مَنْ
يُعَيِّرُنِي
كَلِمَةً. |
12 A prudent man foresees evil and hides himself; The
simple pass on and are punished. |
12 الذَّكِيُّ
يُبْصِرُ
الشَّرَّ
فَيَتَوَارَى.
الأَغْبِيَاءُ
يَعْبُرُونَ
فَيُعَاقَبُونَ. |
13 Take the garment of him who is surety for a
stranger, And hold it in pledge when he is surety for a seductress. |
13 خُذْ
ثَوْبَهُ
لأَنَّهُ
ضَمِنَ
غَرِيباً وَلأَجْلِ
الأَجَانِبِ
ارْتَهِنَ
مِنْهُ.
|
14 He who blesses his friend with a loud voice,
rising early in the morning, It will be counted a curse to him. |
14 مَنْ
يُبَارِكُ
قَرِيبَهُ
بِصَوْتٍ
عَالٍ فِي
الصَّبَاحِ
بَاكِراً
يُحْسَبُ
لَهُ لَعْناً. |
15 A continual dripping on a very rainy day
And a contentious woman are alike; |
15 اَلْوَكْفُ
الْمُتَتَابِعُ
فِي يَوْمٍ
مُمْطِرٍ
وَالْمَرْأَةُ
الْمُخَاصِمَةُ
سِيَّانِ
|
16 Whoever restrains her restrains the
wind, And grasps oil with his right hand. |
16 مَنْ
يُخَبِّئُهَا
يُخَبِّئُ
الرِّيحَ
وَيَمِينُهُ
تَقْبِضُ
عَلَى
زَيْتٍ!
|
17 As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the
countenance of his friend. |
17 الْحَدِيدُ
بِالْحَدِيدِ
يُحَدَّدُ
وَالإِنْسَانُ
يُحَدِّدُ
وَجْهَ
صَاحِبِهِ. |
18 Whoever keeps the fig tree will eat
its fruit; So he who waits on his master will be honored. |
18 مَنْ
يَحْمِي
تِينَةً يَأْكُلُ
ثَمَرَتَهَا
وَحَافِظُ
سَيِّدِهِ
يُكْرَمُ. |
19 As in water face reflects face, So a man's
heart reveals the man. |
19 كَمَا
فِي
الْمَاءِ
الْوَجْهُ
لِلْوَجْهِ
كَذَلِكَ
قَلْبُ
الإِنْسَانِ
لِلإِنْسَانِ. |
20 Hell and Destruction are never full; So the
eyes of man are never satisfied. |
20 اَلْهَاوِيَةُ
وَالْهَلاَكُ
لاَ
يَشْبَعَانِ
وَكَذَا
عَيْنَا
الإِنْسَانِ
لاَ تَشْبَعَانِ. |
21 The refining pot is for silver and the furnace
for gold, And a man is valued by what others say of him. |
21 اَلْبُوطَةُ
لِلْفِضَّةِ
وَالْكُورُ
لِلذَّهَبِ
كَذَا
الإِنْسَانُ
لِفَمِ
مَادِحِهِ. |
22 Though you grind a fool in a mortar with a pestle
along with crushed grain, Yet his foolishness will not depart from him. |
22 إِنْ
دَقَقْتَ
الأَحْمَقَ
فِي هَاوُنٍ
بَيْنَ
السَّمِيذِ
بِمِدَقٍّ
لاَ
تَبْرَحُ
عَنْهُ
حَمَاقَتُهُ. |
23 Be diligent to know the state of your
flocks, And attend to your herds; |
23 مَعْرِفَةً
اعْرِفْ
حَالَ
غَنَمِكَ
وَاجْعَلْ
قَلْبَكَ
إِلَى
قُطْعَانِكَ |
24 For riches are not forever, Nor does a crown
endure to all generations. |
24 لأَنَّ
الْغِنَى
لَيْسَ
بِدَائِمٍ
وَلاَ التَّاجُ
لِدَوْرٍ
فَدَوْرٍ. |
25 When the hay is removed, and the tender
grass shows itself, And the herbs of the mountains are gathered in, |
25 فَنِيَ
الْحَشِيشُ
وَظَهَرَ
الْعُشْبُ
وَاجْتَمَعَ
نَبَاتُ
الْجِبَالِ. |
26 The lambs will provide your clothing, And
the goats the price of a field; |
26 الْحُمْلاَنُ
لِلِبَاسِكَ
وَثَمَنُ
حَقْلٍ أَعْتِدَةٌ. |
27 You shall have enough goats' milk for your food,
For the food of your household, And the nourishment of your maidservants. |
27 وَكِفَايَةٌ
مِنْ لَبَنِ
الْمَعْزِ
لِطَعَامِكَ
لِقُوتِ بَيْتِكَ
وَمَعِيشَةِ
فَتَيَاتِكَ. |
